Clara's Christmas Bauble PDF Tutorial Download

This is how I imagine the baubles on the Christmas tree from the Nutcracker Ballet would have looked. They glisten and shine as Clara is taken on her magical ballet journey with the Nutcracker Prince.

The bauble is made with units of Double Right Angle Weave aka DRAW and netting stitches. A tassel is then attached to the bottom and add either a ribbon or string of beads to the top for hanging on your Christmas tree.

These would make lovely Christmas gifts for friends and family. Why not make a series for yourself in lots of different colours.

Materials required are as follows:

Size 8 Seed Beads Colour A, 20 grams

Size 8 Seed Beads Colour B, 20 grams

2 hole GemDuo x 96 

4mm Fire Polish Beads x 10

Clear Fillable Bauble 6cm

Your Own Tools Required - not included in the kits

• Thread Burner for cutting and burning ends of thread off.
• Beading Thread Fireline, One G or Hana.
• Sharp scissors for trimming thread.
• Needles, for this project I prefer a size 11 or 12 beading needle.
• Beading Mat/tray, I like the soft fuzzy foam ones.
• Beading Light and Magnification if required
