Capture Czech glass drops with bead embroidery and peyote stitch. Learn the basics of bead embroidery including adhesives for stones, foundations, backings and finishing edges.

Materials required

• 2 x Czech Glass Drops 15x12mm
• 2 x Czech Glass Mini Flowers
• Size 15 seed beads
• Size 11 Delica Beads
• Size 10 Hex Twists
• Lacys Stiff Stuff Foundation
• Ultrasuede
• Fish Hook Earring Findings
• E6000 Glue

Tools Required - These are the tools I use daily in my bead kit. 

• Thread Burner for cutting and burning ends of thread off
• Sharp scissors for cutting fabric, backing and thread
• Needles, for this project I prefer a straw size 11
• Beading Mat/tray, I like the soft fuzzy foam ones.
• Chain Nose Pliers, for breaking misbehaving beads, and pulling the needle through multiple layers
• Lighter, to burn the ends of the thread to create a knot.
• Thimble, to protect my finger from getting holes in the end when pushing through the needle.
• Thread Conditioner, optional
