Tools and other Materials Required - These are what I use in my bead kit. 

E6000 Glue

Beading Thread, Fireline, One G, KO, or Hana

Beading Needles, size 11 or 12 or Straw size 11.  I prefer shorter beading needles.

Lighter

Thread Burner for cutting and burning ends of thread off.

Sharp scissors for trimming thread.

Beading Mat/tray, I like the soft fuzzy foam ones.

Good Beading Light and Magnification if required.
