KIT - Bumble in IBW Rainbow Colours

This is a complete kit for the FREE International Beading Week Tutorial which has a full step-by-step video tutorial included.

This bee was created for International Beading Week 2025 to suit the theme of “The Natural World.”  International Beading Week (IBW) is open each year to everyone who has a passion for beadwork or who would like to learn more about this creative art form.  Wherever you are in the world you can get involved for FREE at https://internationalbeadingweek.com/

Each kit includes all the beads and findings you need to complete one Bumble Brooch.   You just need to bring your beading needle, thread, scissors and creativity.

Kits are available in three colourways:

• Traditional Bee Colours
• Australian Native Blue Banded Bee
• International Beading Week Rainbow Version 

Tools and other Materials Required

These are what I use in my bead kit.

·        Beading Thread, I prefer fireline for this project.

·        Beading Needles, Straw size 11 is an excellent choice for this project.

·        E6000 Glue

·        Thread Burner for cutting and burning ends of thread off. I use the Beadsmith rechargeable version.

·        Sharp Scissors for trimming thread and Lacys Stiff Stuff.

·        Beading Mat/tray, I like the soft fuzzy foam ones.

·        Good Beading Light and Magnification if required.

·        Cricut Heat Press Mini and ironing board

·        Black Sharpie

·         White Gel Pen
